MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
John was born and raised in New York
State. Prior to moving to Florida, John
was a General Contractor and was involved in estate maintenance in upstate
New York. He had ample opportunities
to hunt and fish which he enjoyed very
much. In 2006, John moved to Florida.
He started coming to the community
Center in 2009. John loves to shoot
pool during which he has made friends.
He says this is a great place to meet
people and socialize instead of staying
home and being lonely. John is not
afraid to state his opinions and tells it
like it is. In addition he makes
contributions to the center and offers
help where he can. It is refreshing to
have John here during the week.

Eddie’s Pride and Joy
Eddie Roberts, a member and volunteer at Central Citrus Community Center
drove his 1940 Ford Sedan to the center for his friends to see. He has won two
trophies “Best Street Rod” and “Top 20”. The car has a 350 small block Chevy
motor with 400 plus horsepower. It is a fun car with a tilt wheel, heat, air
conditioning, cup holders, mag wheels and a bright red interior.
Eddie has owned the car for two years and has less than 5,000.00 miles on it.
See You In September
“See You In September” is what the
members at Central Citrus sang to
Jaime Roldan, on May 25th, his last day
entertaining at the community centers
until he returns in September. We all
look forward to his return and his
Jaime Roldan
wonderful singing.

Are you prepared? Now is the time to check for your emergency supplies
and be prepared. Do you know where your emergency shelters are
located? Do you need help in case of
evacuation? These are the questions
you need to ask yourself. If you need
help with preparing for this season,
check with Community Center staff for
more information.
Leave a Legacy of Love
Planned Giving Providing a
Lifeline, Forever
By leaving a legacy you can make a significant difference in the lives of the younger seniors of our community as they
age, as well as those of more advanced years. Your gift of any size will impact the lives of many in ways for which they
will ever be grateful. You do not have to be wealthy to make a difference and to help your community. You will leave a
legacy of goodwill that provides help, hope and happiness to the less fortunate.
To plan for the future you can arrange to make a planned gift either during or after your lifetime. The most common
form of planned giving is a simple bequest, which an individual’s will provides for a gift of cash, stocks, bonds, real
estate, or personal property. Your charitable gift will help us to continue helping seniors, the homebound, and the
hungry. Please review Planned Giving with your financial or tax advisor to see what might best suit you. When you are
ready to proceed, we will gladly assist you in completing your gift.
Aside from feeling good about making a difference, your charitable gift can reduce estate taxes and
provide other financial benefits.
You may also designate your bequest to be used for a particular center or program such as:
 Your local Senior Center/Senior Dining - Meals on Wheels/Pet Meals
 In Home Services/ Homemaking, Personal Care, Respite and Emergency Alert System
For more information, please call Citrus County Support Services at (352) 527-5975
