Introduction
End of row doors help isolate the cold aisle from the rest of the data center.
End of row doors create more efficient cold aisles by blocking an obvious cold
air escape route.
This simple and cost-effective solution improves efficiency while lowering overall
operating costs.
Café style door
Wright Line’s café style door is the best solution for end of row containment,
offering the best combination of versatility, accessibility, and performance.






Café style doors swing in and out independently.
Spring-loaded hinges hold doors closed, or open at 90 degrees.
No threshold to trip over or prevent wheeled access.
Overall door dimensions are 96.2 inches high and 6 feet (72 inches)
wide. The height includes adjustable levelers at the lowest height of 0.2
inches. The levelers can be extended over an inch, or removed
completely to reduce the total height to 96 inches.
The header above the doors is easily removable, which accommodates
the movement of very tall enclosures. The door opening is 36.5 inches
wide (42 inches without doors) by 88 inches high.
End panels are easily attached allowing the end of row doors to scale to
any width aisle. Minimum aisle width for café style doors is 42 inches.
Single swing door
When door clearance is not an issue, Wright Line’s single swing door is the
better solution. Single swing doors offer many of the same features of the café
style door at a lower price point.
Single swing doors open outward from the aisle.

Rev 1
Overall door dimensions are 96.2 inches high and 66 inches wide. The
height includes adjustable levelers at the lowest height of 0.2 inches. The
levelers can be extended over an inch, or removed completely to
reduce the total height to 96 inches.
The door can be mounted to open left-handed or right-handed and can
be reversed in the field.
The single swing door is held closed by latches, similar to a Paramount
enclosure front door.
The header above the doors is easily removable, which accommodates
movement of very tall enclosures. The door opening is 32.1 inches wide
by 86.5 inches high.
End panels are easily attached allowing the end of row doors to scale to
cover any width aisle. Minimum aisle width for single swing doors is 36
inches.

Preparing to install end of row doors
Complete the following procedures before installing end of row doors.
Prepare the aisle
1. Remove any freestanding or externally mounted equipment from the
enclosures where end of row doors will be installed.
2. Mark the end of the aisle on the floor. The mark should align with the
outside edge of the two enclosures, which should be coplanar.
If possible, align the end of row enclosures to be coplanar. If they can
not be aligned, mark a line extending from the edge of the outermost
enclosure. The installation will require foam tape or a fabricated
solution between the door jamb and the innermost enclosure.
3. Measure the width of the aisle and mark the centerline.
Unpack the end of row doors
Unpack all components of the end of row doors near the aisle where it will be
installed. See the Inventory section for a list of components.

Installing the floor support brackets and
door jambs
The end of row doors can be installed directly on most enclosures, or as a
standalone structure.
Installation requires a team of at least two people.
Complete the following procedures to install the floor support brackets, door
jambs, and header for café style and single swing end of row doors.
Layout and drill floor support holes
1. Position the installation template centered on the aisle and aligned with
the outside of the walls that will be attached to the end of row
enclosures.
Note: Make sure the holes are on the edge furthest away from the
enclosure.
For café style doors use the outer holes to mark the screw locations,
as shown.

11
For a single swing door use the inner holes to mark the screw
locations, as shown.
Mock up the floor support brackets to make sure the marks align with
the mounting holes.
2. Drill three mounting holes in the floor on each side.

the door jamb and the top of the enclosure using any available extruded
holes. Finger tighten only.
The L-shaped jamb mounting plate attaches to the back of the door
jamb. The sliding enclosure plate attaches to the top of an enclosure.
2. From behind the door jambs, position the header front panel between
the jambs, aligning the tops of all three components.
Note: For café style doors, install the rear header after installing the
doors, as described in Installing the café style doors.

Level and align components
1. Measure diagonally from the slot in the bottom of the left jamb to the
opposite top corner of the doorway.
Measure the corresponding distance from the slot in the bottom of the
right jamb to the opposite top corner of the doorway.
Compare the two measurements. They must be identical to maintain
plumb and ensure proper door operation.
2. Adjust the leveling feet on the bottom of the door jambs to align the
components and maintain plumb. Leveling feet can also be used to
adjust the gap between the header and the top of the door.
3. Café style doors can be raised in .04” increments using the optional
shim plates (19850X). Four shim plates are included per kit. Insert shim
plates between the café hinge base plate and the floor support bracket.
4. When the jambs and header are leveled and aligned, tighten all screws
