Definition: Motion Buffers are used when the camera is using a Recording Type
of Motion Only and is used to ensure the pre and post motion pictures are also
captured, for example the person is walking into the room rather than just
appearing.
Pre Motion is the amount of seconds added before a motion event.
Post Motion is the amount of seconds added to the end of a motion
event.
How to access these settings:
1. Open Monitor Station, go to Administration>Setup and Configuration.
2. Choose the camera in the left tree.
3. Select the Record Tab.
4. Click Advanced.
NOTE: Motion Buffers do not apply to MPEG-4 Capture Format.
