Building #2 Restrooms
The marina staff has started to “spruce” up the
building 2 restrooms.
In the men’s restroom staff will be replacing the
ceiling tiles, laying new tile around the entryway
and urinal, replacing some wall sections, and
painting. In the women’s restroom they will just
be doing some painting.
While the work is going on staff will try to
minimize any inconvenience that may be caused,
however, there may be times when the restroom
will need to be closed.
Quiz
A white buoy with a blue band is:
a. an isolated danger mark
b. a hydrographic data collection buoy
c. a mooring buoy
d. marking a restricted area
The salmon are scheduled to arrive on February 1st.
Our annual net pen rearing project will commence
with the arrival of the fish by tanker truck from the
Marblemount Hatchery. We’ll be receiving a total
of about 30,000 fish, which will be placed in our two
net pens, located on each side of “A” dock. The fish
will be with us until just before Memorial Day,
when they will be released.
It’s fascinating to watch them, as they hit salt water
for the first time. If you are interested in welcoming
the fish to their new home or are aware of a group or
organization that would like to see them arrive,
please give us a call for more details.
