ABOUT THE HOUSE
River House is located in Lafayette, LA.
This five bedroom, two story home
inestled in large oak trees is on the
Vermilion River. Each semi private
bedroom offers a pillow top mattress,
400-plus count sheets and a dresser or
closet space.
What is Sober Living?
The main goal of a recovery house is to
provide residents with a safe and
supportive environment in which to
practice sobriety. A sober recovery
house is a solution for those early in
addiction treatment who require
continued structure in their life as they
re-integrate into their daily activities.
RESIDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
River House requires a minimum
commitment of 90 days. All residents must
be male and 18 years or older. Must have
completed or in process of completing a
treatment experience.
Living with others who are focused on
sobriety and recovery can help create a
firm foundation before returning home
to the challenges of daily living. A
quality sober living home will allow the
addict and alcoholic time to develop his
coping skills.
