Challenge: Intransparent results in Multilevel ATP
Numerous Multilevel ATP (MATP) customers are facing identical challenges:
 The
availability of components of a bill of material is checked during sales order
creation and the finished product is confirmed based in the availability of its
components
 The
confirmation situation is not transparent after sales order creation. After sales
order creation it is impossible to determine those components which have affected
the confirmation situation in a negative way
 Due
to missing transparency sales order managers cannot react on negative
confirmation situations
 In
case individual customer segments aren’t used, it is not possible to determine all
sales order items that are affected by the shortage of a component
