Honor Troupe Application Process
Georgia Thespians strive to excel both on stage and off. The Georgia Thespian Society would like
to recognize those troupes who achieve a high level of excellence by sponsoring the Georgia Thespian
Honor Troupe. This achievement is meant for those troupes who do tremendous work in their school and
community and should be recognized. There is no limit on the number of troupes who can apply or be
recognized each year. The application process will include submission of a portfolio or "brag book" about
the positive impact your troupe is making. All directions as part of the application process must be
followed exactly with no duplications in multiple categories. Portfolios will be submitted at the Fall session

and awards will be presented at Thespian Conference in the winter. A school year begins July 1 and

ends June 30 . A certificate will be given to each school, however a plaque may be ordered as a
permanent memento of your year. In addition, each school will receive a letter addressed to their
principal celebrating their achievement. Please organize your portfolio into the following categories,
including descriptions and explanations. A filled out evaluation form is required.
