Neighbors Helping Neighbors For many years the Library has served as a collection point for the Union Aid Society’s Thanksgiving food drive. This year, instead distributing Thanksgiving food baskets, the Union Aid Society will distribute food gift cards to families in need so that they can shop for their own Thanksgiving meals and purchase items needed at this time of year. “Turkey Trees” will be located at the Library, the YMCA, and Safran’s Market from mid-October through November 7th. Please help a neighbor this Thanksgiving – stop by one of these locations and take a “turkey” tag for a family in need.
