The SA LUMIN ATEX approved Blast Light is available from stock, and is
supplied with 10 metres of braided cable, and a plug of your choice. The quick
release hose clamp and the rapid-change protective lens system both help
to make this an incredibly simple and easy product to use.
The SA LUMIN Blast Light has the power to achieve significant cost savings,
by direct illumination, which enables very efficient, consistent and precise
blasting. You will achieve the desired results much quicker, cutting out the
need to go back over areas that have been missed. And with full ATEX
certification for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 as well as operating on a 24V supply
voltage, it is exceptionally safe.

1.Without a direct light source, the blast operator has difficulty seeing through the dust created.
2.A poorly finished blast result, which means that the blast operator will have to come back later and go over the missed areas. When this happens over a large area, to go back over
it all is extremely inefficient and laborious.
3.The SA LUMIN Blast Light attaches to the Blast Hose, giving a powerful, penetrating beam which allows precise illumination of the area which is being blasted.
The operators do not have to wait until the ambient air has
cleared and then go back in to inspect their work. They can
see exactly where they have and haven’t blasted; this will
significantly improve their productivity.
The disposable Protective Lens System takes the brunt of wear
and tear, which means that when backed with full spares availability,
your fully waterproof and dustproof SA LUMIN Blast Light will give
many hours of reliable service.
At only 800 grams and measuring a neat 136mm x 85mm, the SA
LUMIN Blast Light gives an impressive 3100cd of highly focused
light, which cuts through dust exceptionally well.
4.The perfectly blasted surface and joint, thanks to the SA LUMIN Blast Light’s penetrating beam of light which means that no areas are inadvertently missed.

I’ve been painting and blasting for 18 years and I can honestly

One of the biggest problems with blasting is visibility. If you
are dry blasting, the dust produced reduces visibility very
quickly and you forever have to stop and re-assess your
surface. When using the SA LUMIN Blast Light however, you
can carry on, as the concentrated beam allows you perfect
vision throughout the task.
If you are wet blasting, background lighting is magnified on
your visor and you feel like there’s a thousand little lights
glaring in your face. Again, the concentrated beam from
the SA LUMIN Blast Light cancels out the glare and you can
complete your task without stopping to wipe your visor.
