Dd makes the sound of a drum.
SK: Continuing with CVC words. Consonant Vowel Consonant
Math:
JK: JK's are now on the letter 6. I will send home a sheet with our number poems on Thursday. This is just to help you if
your child needs some extra hints to make their numbers.
SK: We have been reviewing first term the teen family which we learned last year. We are now continuing on. We have
begun counting by 10's in order to help identify numbers 20 to 50. If you could, please review all numbers 0 to 19 with
your little ones if they need some extra practice.
Syllables: Counting out syllables this week.
Christmas: A note went home with the K to Grade 2 songs for Christmas. It would be extremely helpful if you are able
to download the songs on your phone or computer. It is a lot of words for the K's, so the more practice the better. If you
have misplaced the note, I would be more than happy to send another one.
