Registration Form HELP HOMELESS ANIMALS Join the WMASS team and help us raise $15,000 or more for the homeless animals we care for until they find new forever homes and families. Participant Information: WMASS is a 100% volunteer managed and maintained facility. All funds raised will support the approximately 1,000 homeless animals in our care annually. All donations are tax deductible. Name: WMASS has a 92% adoption rate (national average 25-35%). Every animal receives a medical exam, inoculations, is tested, is spayed or neutered if 6 months of age or older and receives any other medical care needed. Address: Our volunteers care for these homeless animals 365 days a year and every day each cage, kennel, or cattery (where cats are free roaming) is cleaned. They are all fed, loved, and given clean bedding every day. Telephone: WMASS was voted a “Must See Shelter” by the ASPCA. We have been able to upgrade our facility and provide for the animals in our care on a daily basis for over 40 years, due to the generosity of our supporters. Fundraising provides a large part of our operating budget. We could not provide the care we do without this support. Our updated facility allows most cats to live in a cage free area with an attached fenced-in and covered patio. Our dogs have interior kennels with outside access, and covered exterior kennels and exercise runs on grass. There is a separate area for ill dogs or cats, and recently an area for farm animals and injured wildlife has been added.
