Conferences will be on site to teach and assist each camper. Additional college players will
also support in the teachings of the 14th Annual All-American Fast Pitch Softball Camp.

Megan Baltzell
Camp Director
Kerri is the owner of All-American Fast Pitch Softball.
She is a professional Fast Pitch Softball Instructor with
25 years experience giving lessons statewide. Kerri
specializes in pitching and hitting as well as other
essential fundamentals of the game. She is a graduate
of Christopher Newport University (CNU) and a ThreeTime Softball All-American. She is a former ASA (2000
& 2002) All-American. Kerri was the first All-American
Softball player and Hall of Fame inductee at CNU. In
2006 she was named to the USA South 25th Silver
Anniversary Softball Team. Kerri has had the honor
of working with and directing camps for MIZUNO USA
along with Gold Medalists Jennie Finch and Natasha
Watley. High School: Graduated from New Kent

Kathy Riley
Longwood University Head Coach
Kathy Riley is in her 19th year at Longwood University
during 2015-16. 600th win this season. She has an
outstanding overall record of 544-292-1 since taking
over the program prior to the 1998 season, including 16
winning seasons. Riley led Longwood to an overall record
of 40-16 during 2014. The Lancers finished 2011 with
a final record of 37-13, marking their 14th consecutive
20-win season, 11th 25-win campaign and eighth 30-win
season under Coach Riley. She was named the Virginia
Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) Coach of
the Year for her efforts. Coach Riley earned her her 500th
collegiate coaching victory on March 25, 2011.

ASSISTANT COACH
Kayla Miller returns to the dugout in 2015 to begin her 14th year as an assistant
coach with Longwood softball and 16th year overall at Longwood. Miller
previously served as the assistant coach for seven seasons while working with the
softball program for 12 years from 2000-2012.

The camp will be held at Dumbarton Complex (Behind Dumbarton Elementary
School).
Dumbarton Complex: 9000 Hungary Spring Rd
An on-site EMT and RN will be available during the camp
Participants should bring cleats, tennis shoes, helmet, batting gloves, softball glove
and bat (if desired). Also a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, visor and cooler is
recommended.
Camp will provide personal instruction and teach all aspects of the game (pitching,
catching, fielding, throwing, bunting, hitting, baserunning, etc.)
Girls will be divided up by age and defensive position. With games and contests
included. One of the few softball camps on the East Coast that guarantees an 8:1 ratio
for participants/staff with this amount of experience.
This camp has helped develop talents of many all-district, all-regional and all-state
players. Team discount (8 players or more) and family discounts are available (sisters
only). Concessions will be available onsite. If preferred, campers may bring a bag lunch.
