Kerri Cobb Megan Baltzell Camp Director Kerri is the owner of All-American Fast Pitch Softball. She is a professional Fast Pitch Softball Instructor with 25 years experience giving lessons statewide. Kerri specializes in pitching and hitting as well as other essential fundamentals of the game. She is a graduate of Christopher Newport University (CNU) and a ThreeTime Softball All-American. She is a former ASA (2000 & 2002) All-American. Kerri was the first All-American Softball player and Hall of Fame inductee at CNU. In 2006 she was named to the USA South 25th Silver Anniversary Softball Team. Kerri has had the honor of working with and directing camps for MIZUNO USA along with Gold Medalists Jennie Finch and Natasha Watley. Kathy Riley Longwood University Head Coach Kathy Riley is in her 19th year at Longwood University during 2015-16. 600th win this season. She has an outstanding overall record of 544-292-1 since taking over the program prior to the 1998 season, including 16 winning seasons. Riley led Longwood to an overall record of 40-16 during 2014. The Lancers finished 2011 with a final record of 37-13, marking their 14th consecutive 20-win season, 11th 25-win campaign and eighth 30-win season under Coach Riley. She was named the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) Coach of the Year for her efforts. Coach Riley earned her her 500th collegiate coaching victory on March 25, 2011. Dumbarton Complex: 9000 Hungary Spring Rd An on-site EMT and RN will be available during the camp Participants should bring cleats, tennis shoes, helmet, batting gloves, softball glove and bat (if desired). Also a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, visor and cooler is recommended. Camp will provide personal instruction and teach all aspects of the game (pitching, catching, fielding, throwing, bunting, hitting, baserunning, etc.) Girls will be divided up by age and defensive position. With games and contests included. One of the few softball camps on the East Coast that guarantees an 8:1 ratio for participants/staff with this amount of experience. This camp has helped develop talents of many all-district, all-regional and all-state players. Team discount (8 players or more) and family discounts are available (sisters only). Concessions will be available onsite. If preferred, campers may bring a bag lunch.
