This year York Region 55+ Games District #14 is hosting the Central Regional 55+ Games. The games will be
held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Events which are going to be offered are: bid euchre, cribbage,
contract bridge, carpet bowling, darts, floor shuffleboard, 9/18/mini golf, indoor horseshoes, 5 pin bowling, 8
ball pool, lawn bowling, prediction walk and pickle ball.
This is a one day event.
We are presently asking for volunteers to help with registration and to convene
these events. Since they are all held at the same time we need a convener for each
event. As you can see we are anticipating having 15 events and will require 15
conveners.
This is an opportunity to meet and compete with a few other districts. The other districts are Parry Sound,
Durham, Simcoe County, Muskoka/ Haliburton and Kawartha Lakes/Peterborough/Northumberland.
This has been a fun day in the past with a closing dinner to follow.
