CERTIFICATE OF COMPL ETION
ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE
ASSOCIATE OF ARTS OR EGON TRANSFER
COCC offers students four options within the criminal justice field:
PROFICIENCY AREAS: These five proficiency areas offer students a way to focus their electives.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: The statewide one-year certificate program with a concentration in juvenile corrections is specifically designed
for individuals who want to work directly with juvenile offenders in various settings.
ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE: This degree is designed for those students who wish to pursue a career in law enforcement or corrections.
ASSOCIATE OF ARTS OREGON TRANSFER: This degree meets the state of Oregon transfer degree requirements allowing students to transfer to
an Oregon public university and some out-of-state universities having met all lower-division general education requirements. Students should
work closely with their advisor to decide which option is most appropriate based on long-term career goals. A criminal history may affect
employment opportunities. Visit http://www.cocc.edu/Financial-Aid/Gainful-Employment/ to find more information on program cost, how
students have financed the cost, average graduation rate and jobs associated.
