ChemE Car Team
Remember those toy cars that were supposed to run on baking soda and vinegar? You more likely
remember the toy car that never moved more than a few inches. ChemE car is stepping up the game.
Join us as we use chemical reactions to power a shoebox sized car to compete against other universities
in the New England area. Engineers and scientists of any field and experience are invited to participate
designing, building, and competing our cars. Methods of powering the cars range from generating
electricity through fuel cells to the power of a turbine and gas-producing chemical reactions.
