Enjoy Azalea Season Day by Day Itinerary April 3: Today depart Lynchburg, VA to begin our journey to the Charming Southeast cities of Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. Departure Breakfast is included, Lunch and plenty of rest stops will me made along the way. We’ll check into our hotel for a two night stay and rest up for our wonderful time in this fascinating city….Later this evening we will enjoy a delicious meal at Hyman’s Seafood which is voted top Seafood Restaurant in South Carolina. April 4: After Breakfast, visit Middleton Place and Gardens during the Peak of Azalea Season. Middleton Place is a National Historic Landmark and home to America’s oldest landscaped gardens. Enjoy a tour of both the House & Gardens. Enjoy Lunch & Shopping at the open-air downtown Historical Charleston City Market. Famous for its great souvenirs, jewelry, local cuisine and sweetgrass baskets. Tonight we will experience another Charleston Seafood Favorite! April 5: Following Breakfast, enjoy views of the Battery with Fort Sumter in the background and Rainbow Row’s beautiful architecture, as we make our way to Beaufort, SC. Take a Carriage Ride Tour through Beaufort. Experience a waterfront lunch on your own, browse the shops and watch the sailboats go by. This quaint town is considered a National Historic Landmark. Afterwards journey to Savannah, GA where we check in to our hotel for a two-night stay. April 6: After Breakfast, begin our sightseeing tour of the Magnificent Historic Savannah. Enjoy free time for lunch and take time to browse the Savannah Riverfront Shops or stroll along the elegant homes and majestic gardens.
