Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: Section 1. Ramon Puig Way designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of S.W. 8th Street between S.W. 62nd Avenue and S.W. 67th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Ramon Puig Way.” 1 CODING: Words stricken are deletions; words underlined are additions. Ch. 2005-292 LAWS OF FLORIDA Ch. 2005-292 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Ramon Puig Way as described in subsection (1). Section 2. Shawn O’Dare Way designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of N.W. 167th Street between N.W. 57th Avenue and N.W. 67th Avenue in the Town of Miami Lakes in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Shawn O’Dare Way.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Shawn O’Dare Way as described in subsection (1). Section 3. Marge Pearlson Way designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of S.W. 129th Terrace between East 67th Avenue and 64th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Marge Pearlson Way.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Marge Pearlson Way as described in subsection (1). Section 4. Jorge L. Cabrera Way designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of Coral Way, S.W. 24th Street, between 107th Avenue and 109th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Jorge L. Cabrera Way.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Jorge L. Cabrera Way as described in subsection (1). Section 5. Correction Officers Memorial Bridge designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The New River Bridge on State Road 16 in Bradford and Union Counties is designated as “Correction Officers Memorial Bridge.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Correction Officers Memorial Bridge as described in subsection (1). Section 6. Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of State Road 528 between its western terminus in Orange County and its eastern terminus in Brevard County, excluding that portion between U.S. Route 1 and State Road 3, is designated as “Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway as described in subsection (1). 2 CODING: Words stricken are deletions; words underlined are additions. Ch. 2005-292 LAWS OF FLORIDA Ch. 2005-292 (3) This section shall have no effect on chapter 98-423, Laws of Florida, which designated that portion of State Road 528 between State Road 436 and State Road A1A as “Kennedy Space Center Highway,” and, therefore, the section of State Road 528 east of State Road 15 shall continue to have two names. (4) That portion of State Road 528 between U.S. Route 1 and State Road 3 has been designated as “Emory Bennett Causeway” and shall continue to have that designation notwithstanding this section. Section 7. Daniel Webster Western Beltway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of State Road 429 between Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 441 in Orange County is designated as “Daniel Webster Western Beltway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Daniel Webster Western Beltway as described in subsection (1). Section 8. Robert F. Grim, Sr., Memorial Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of Nova Road between Granada Boulevard and U.S. Highway 1 in Volusia County is designated as “Robert F. Grim, Sr., Memorial Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Robert F. Grim, Sr., Memorial Parkway as described in subsection (1). Section 9. Veteran’s Memorial Boulevard designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 331 from its intersection with U.S. Highway 90 South to the southern border of the City of DeFuniak Springs in Walton County is designated as “Veteran’s Memorial Boulevard.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Veteran’s Memorial Boulevard as described in subsection (1). Section 10. Southeastern Guide Dog Overpass designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The overpass on 77th Avenue East, Bridge Number 130090, over Interstate 275 in Manatee County is designated as “Southeastern Guide Dog Overpass.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Southeastern Guide Dog Overpass as described in subsection (1). 3 CODING: Words stricken are deletions; words underlined are additions. Striska Florida Welcome Center designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The Florida Welcome Center on Interstate 75 at the Georgia state line in Hamilton County is designated as “Joseph O. Striska Florida Welcome Center.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Joseph O. Striska Florida Welcome Center as described in subsection (1). Section 12. Purple Heart Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 27 that lies within Highlands County is designated as “Purple Heart Memorial Highway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Purple Heart Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1). Section 13. Section 25 of chapter 2004-392, Laws of Florida, is repealed. Section 14. St. Petersburg Parkway/William C. Cramer Memorial Highway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of Interstate 275 in Pinellas County that extends from the Howard Frankland Bridge to the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is designated as “St. Petersburg Parkway/William C. Cramer Memorial Highway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating St. Petersburg Parkway/William C. Cramer Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1). Section 15. Richard E. “Pete” Damon Bridge designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The bridge over the Loxahatchee River on State Road Alternate A1A in the Town of Jupiter in Palm Beach County is designated as “Richard E. ‘Pete’ Damon Bridge.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Richard E. “Pete” Damon Bridge as described in subsection (1). Section 16. Alexander Alden Ware Memorial Cable Barrier System designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The cable barrier system along the Florida Turnpike in Palm Beach, St. Lucie, and Miami-Dade Counties is designated as “Alexander Alden Ware Memorial Cable Barrier System.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Alexander Alden Ware Memorial Cable Barrier System as described in subsection (1). 4 CODING: Words stricken are deletions; words underlined are additions. Roi Henri Christophe Boulevard designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of State Road 916 on N.W. 135th Street between N.W. 7th Avenue and N.E. 6th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Roi Henri Christophe Boulevard.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Roi Henri Christophe Boulevard as described in subsection (1). Section 18. Charles Summer Boulevard designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of State Road 916 on N.W. 135th Street between N.W. 17th Avenue and N.W. 7th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Charles Summer Boulevard.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Charles Summer Boulevard as described in subsection (1). Section 19. Capois-La-Mort Boulevard designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of State Road 916 on N.E. 135th Street between N.E. 6th Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Capois-La-Mort Boulevard.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Capois-La-Mort Boulevard as described in subsection (1). Section 20. Jean Baptiste Point du Sable Boulevard designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of State Road 934 on N.W. 79th Street between Interstate 95 and N.E. 10th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Jean Baptiste Point du Sable Boulevard.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Jean Baptiste Point du Sable Boulevard as described in subsection (1). Section 21. Eric Ulysses Ramirez Highway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The portion of State Road 50 in Lake County between the community of Stuckey and the Mascotte city limits is designated as the “Eric Ulysses Ramirez Highway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating the Eric Ulysses Ramirez Highway as described in subsection (1). Ch. 2005-292 LAWS OF FLORIDA Ch. 2005-292 (1) That portion of Interstate Highway 4 in the vicinity of mile marker 123 in Volusia County is designated as “Trooper Darryl Haywood Highway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Trooper Darryl Haywood Highway as described in subsection (1). Section 23. David Hinson Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of Nova Road in Volusia County between International Speedway Boulevard to George W. Ingram Boulevard is designated as the “David Hinson Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating the David Hinson Parkway as described in subsection (1). Section 24. Charles W. Cherry, Sr., Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of International Speedway Boulevard between Nova Road and Beach Street in Volusia County is designated as “Charles W. Cherry, Sr., Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Charles W. Cherry, Sr., Parkway as described in subsection (1). Section 25. Taye Brown Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of New Kings Road (U.S. 1) in Duval County between the 2400 block and the 3700 block is designated as “Taye Brown Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Taye Brown Parkway as described in subsection (1). Section 26. Charles B. Dailey Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of the Haines Street Expressway between Jessie Street and Eighth Street in Duval County is designated as “Charles B. Dailey Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Charles B. Dailey Parkway as described in subsection (1). Section 27. Johnnie Mae Chappell Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 1 between Finch Avenue and Redpoll Avenue in Duval County is designated as “Johnnie Mae Chappell Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Johnnie Mae Chappell Parkway as described in subsection (1). 6 CODING: Words stricken are deletions; words underlined are additions. Haile Memorial Boulevard designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of East Silver Springs Boulevard, State Road 40, in the City of Ocala from East 11th Avenue to East 16th Avenue is designated as the “Dr. John M. Haile Memorial Boulevard.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating the Dr. John M. Haile Memorial Boulevard, as directed in subsection (1). Section 29. Bob Graham/Sunshine Skyway Bridge designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The Sunshine Skyway Bridge over Tampa Bay is designated as the “Bob Graham/Sunshine Skyway Bridge.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating the Bob Graham/Sunshine Skyway Bridge as described in subsection (1). Section 30. Ricardo Karakadze Street designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The portion of 104th Street between U.S. 1 and 97th Avenue is designated as the “Ricardo Karakadze Street.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating the Ricardo Karakadze Street as described in subsection (1). Section 31. Ralph C. Carter Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of State Park Road at the entrance to the Falling Waters State Recreational area, from Joiner Road to Falling Waters Road, in Chipley, Washington County, is designated as the “Ralph C. Carter Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating the Ralph C. Carter Parkway as described in subsection (1). Section 32. Henry Koerber Parkway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of U.S. Highway 90, between Davis Lane and Old Airport Road, in DeFuniak Springs, Walton County, is designated as the “Henry Koerber Parkway.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating the Henry Koerber Parkway as described in subsection (1). Section 33. Fred N. Dunn, Sr. Highway designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) The portion of U.S. Highway 441 between Plymouth Sorrento Road and State Road 436 in Orange County is designated as the “Fred N. Section 34. Art Pepin Boulevard designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— (1) That portion of 56th Street between Fletcher Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Hillsborough County is designated as “Art Pepin Boulevard.” (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect suitable markers designating Art Pepin Boulevard as described in subsection (1).
