En Las Lecturas de Hoy…
In Todays Readings...
Tal como sucedió con la samaritana y con el hombre ciego de
nacimiento, Jesús asume una
vez más su nombre divino para
que brote la fe. Al declarar,
“YO SOY la resurrección y la
vida”, Jesús conduce a Marta
te conozcan a ti, único Dios verdadero, y a Jesucristo, a
quien tú has enviado”.
As with the Samaritan woman
and the man born blind, Jesus
again assumes the divine name
to prompt movement in faith.
Declaring, “I AM the resurrection and the life,” (John 11:25)
Jesus leads Martha from hope in
future resurrection to Jesus’ eternal present: “Everyone who lives and believes in me will
never die” (11:26). Disciples born of water and the Spirit
begin living eternal life here, now: “This is eternal life, that
they should know you, the only true God, and [Jesus]
whom you sent” (17:3). Never shrugging, “Livin’,” when
asked how they’re doing, disciples do not merely exist but
positively thrive. Jesus moves us inward to discover the
enlivening spirit Ezekiel envisioned, the Spirit who raised
Jesus from the dead, as Paul declared.
Question of the Week
How will I move inward this week to discover Jesus within
me? How will I move outward to engage more enthusiastically with my sister and brother believers? Toward whom is
Jesus moving me to be a messenger of freedom?

TMIY
For all of the men at St.
Jeromes Parish: TMIY
ministry would like to
invite you and a friend to
our meetings. With
Palm Sunday, Holy
Week and
Easter Sunday fast approaching, how awesome
would it be for each and every man in our parish to be the
spiritual and faith leader of his family. If you already are,
we applaud you. If you feel like you may be lacking a little
in this department, whether you are a husband, father, or
single man, TMIY has all of the leadership and materials
that will give you the tools to help you accomplish this
goal. By the grace of God and the presence of the Holy
Spirit, the TMIY ministry at St. Jerome has been a very
blessed ministry. It has been the fastest growing ministry in
the parish and we continue to grow every week. St. Jerome
TMIY has even attracted men from other parishes. It's all
because of the parish support and a growing number of
men that have received "the calling" to become the "leaders
of faith" for their families. Please join us every Tuesday at 6:30-8:00 in Flanagan Hall. As usual, bring
your appetite and a friend.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
(Proverbs 27:17)

The St. Jerome Men's Club is proud of all of the youth from
St. Jerome Catholic Church who participated in the Bexar
County Livestock Show. For any questions, please contact
Allen Pruski or Clint Cooper.
Please be advised that The St. Jerome's Men's Club monthly meeting will be held tomorrow, Monday
April 3rd at 7:00 p.m. instead of the usual
Monday due to Holy Week.
We invite all men of the parish to attend our monthly
meetings and help support our church community.
For questions or additional information, please contact
