All-District Band Instruction Letter
Dear Band Directors,
We are excited to announce the auditions for the 2015 District 19 All-District Band. Auditions will be held at
Belleview High School on Tuesday, Dec. 2nd. Audition times will be given out just prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday
weekend. As this is a respected Honor Band, so please PRE-SCREEN students before allowing them to audition.
In addition to this letter, you should receive the Audition Requirements, All-District Band School Audition List, the AllDistrict Band Contract, and an All-District Band Assessment Form. Below is a list of the forms and how to use them.

All forms, student contracts and checks (one per school) are due by November 1 . The forms can also be turned in
at the press box at Marching MPA.
Late packets will be charged a $50 late fee and NO fees and/or forms will be accepted past Monday, November 11th.
Once a student is registered, directors MAY NOT substitute another student into their spot. Students who are added

SCHOOL AUDITION LIST: This will be done using a Google Document. Use this form to list the students auditioning
from your school. Please list them alphabetically by section in concert order and use the student’s actual name (no
nicknames please). You may make multiple copies of this page, if necessary. Piccolo players must audition on both
Flute and Piccolo and pay separate audition fees. Please list them separate on the audition list.
ADB STUDENT PARTICIPANT CONTRACT: One form per student must be on file prior to the student’s audition. NO
EXCEPTIONS! These are due with your audition forms. This form is posted on the Website.
ADB ASSESSMENT FORM: This will help you figure out how much money to send in. You may also use it to request
a check from your school. Please be sure to sign this fo0rm. Please include ONE check from your school for the
total amount made out to “F.B.A. District 19”. Individual checks from students will not be accepted. Piccolo players
must audition on both Flute and Piccolo and pay separate audition fees. Please list them separate on the audition list.
School assessment is $30, Students fee is $10 per entry.
