Procedure for Advanced Placement Exam Registration for May 2014 Exams If you are taking an AP course at a VSB high school: Students wishing to write AP exams in May 2014 must register with the AP coordinator of their home school by early March 2014. The cost of registration is $ 100 per exam payable to your school. If you are studying an AP course on your own: The VSB does offer some space for VSB and private school students challenging exams however this space is limited so register early. Students who are challenging AP courses must register on-line through the VSB website when it opens in early February. The cost is $130 per exam payable by credit card only and is nonrefundable. The on-line registration will close when spaces become full and will close at the latest March 7, 2014. Once you register for an exam, the exam is ordered and no credit will be given if you change your mind and choose not to write the exam. Please be warned that registration spaces for some exams may fill quickly and you may find certain exams closed before March 7.
