IN ADDITION to a local’s OEA delegates each local is entitled to elect NWOEA delegates who attend only the
NWOEA RA. This is an excellent way to introduce and involve new leaders in the associations’ democratic process.
Some locals have their OEA alternates become NWOEA delegates. This way the OEA alternates (who are then also
NWOEA delegates) are seated at the NWOEA RA and are prepared to go to the OEA RA in Columbus in the event that
the OEA delegate cannot fulfill their duty. Do not list OEA delegates as NWOEA delegates.
If your delegate is a first time delegate, please check the box in front of their name. First time delegates will be notified
of a short orientation session preceding the NWOEA RA.
