HONEYWELL SECURITY MAKES PRESENCE IN THE
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

EXPO INPROTECSA 2008-Honeywell Security and its sister
company Notifier, helped Improtecsa, in an effort to provide product
and service awareness, hosted its second annual Dominican
security fair. The event took place on October 30-31, 2008 at the
Hilton Hotel.
Mr. Juan Tomas Pérez, president of Ingeniería de Protección S.A.leader of security services in the Dominican Republic stated
"Fortunately there has been an increase in awareness for the
security industry within the Dominican population and Honeywell
Security contributes to this important regional and global medium".
There is still opportunity to regulate the security industry in the
Dominican Republic. The standard practice of installing video and
security integration systems for protection against fire and theft has

Honeywell Security will be returning to the city's capital, Santo
Domingo, on November 28-30, 2008 as a participant at the
International Security Show 2008 to be held at the Dominican
Fiesta Hotel & Casino, Avenida Anacaona 101 Santo Domingo,
Dominican Republic.

On Thursday, November 06, took
place an event in the
Intercontinental Hotel of
Tegucigalpa, to announce the
official launching of CCS-Intelisys
as Honeywell's Integrator in
Honduras. The activity gathered
approximately 100 people of the
banking, government and
commercial corporative sectors and
turned out to be a huge success.
The Company CCS-Intelisys is also
the authorized distributor of NCR in
Honduras, reason why during the
event we showed the ATM Video
Solution we developed together for
this market segment. We are sure
this alliance will be very productive
in the near future.

Honeywell Nobel Initiative
Colombia Security Expo 2008

Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1995
Honeywell Nobel Initiative is an event that Honeywell organizes
every year aiming to promote technology research and
development within main Universities of host countries. This
year, after the events in USA, India and China, on October 27
and 28, Mexico had the honor of being the host country, event in
which we had as the guest of honor, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry
Doctor Mario Molina, the only Mexican with such a privileged
mention, who in 1974 predicted Climate World-Wide change to
occur during following 80 years.
Doctor Mario Molina explained the critical problem that the world
is facing nowadays derived from the human activity and created
awareness of the rational use of water, cars, etc. and made a
call to the governments, society in general and the industry in
order to promote and use alternative energy sources that
although nowadays are expensive, is nothing compared to the
price that humanity has to pay if we don't take actions in time.
Conscious of the problem, Honeywell exposed the solutions
performed in all its World-Wide Plants and the changes done in
its manufacture processes and the manufacture of non-harmful
environment products.
Honeywell Technology Vice-presidents along with Doctor Mario
Molina were the Judges of the new generation variety of projects
created by the students to contribute to the environmental
improvement, granting them scholarships and jobs in
Honeywell's plants in Mexicali, Chihuahua and Cd Juárez.
This Forum was a huge success in creating awareness in the
international society.
Is important to mention that currently Doctor Mario Molina is an
advisor in environmental matters of the governments of USA,
During the last week of September,
the International Security Expo
2008 "Efficiency & Security" took
place in Bogotá, Colombia. This
event ratified the Andean Security
market growth. During those days
we had the opportunity to interact
with customers from several
sectors, such as: banking,
industrial, and commercial from
countries like Venezuela, Ecuador,
Peru, Panama, among others.
Little by little the Security Expo in
Bogotá has become an important
scenario where people can
exchange ideas for the security
development in the Andean Region.

During the past September in Posadas, Argentina, a regional
training took place with the participation of our Partners of
Choice Protek-Paraguay (Asuncion, Ciudad del Este,
Encarnacion), Seguridad Misiones, PTK Argentina and SF
Technology.
This event is the result of the strategic alliances and the strong
bonds we have built in Latin America between our valued
customers and Honeywell Security CLAR. Just as it happened,
in the last SEGURIEXPO of Buenos Aires, the idea is to keep us
always together (Company-Client) in any event. Speeches were
in charge of our Training Manager Miguel Mejia along with Juan
Jose Perez and Jose Figueroa, Sales Manager for the
Southern Cone, gave educational and motivational seminars to
all companies united.

This training enjoyed also a fishing tournament in the Parana
River, where Securitas Argentina and Elca joined us. All the
participants were delighted and promised to come back next year
to participate from this activity, and we also hope we can invite
many other partners from our CLAR division.
