EAGLE RIVER SECONDARY Happy New Year! VOLUME 9, ISSUE 4 JANUARY 2017 Assessment Week January 23-27, 2017 We are trying a new approach to exam week for the end of semester one. All students are expected to be in attendance all day, every day, just as they were in past years. However, with the exception of the two Provincial Exams, exams will only be written in the afternoon sessions. The mornings will be spent in tutorial style classes with students being able to select the teacher they need to be with for the morning classes. Teachers will be in their classes ready to help students review material, understand concepts they are having difficulty with, complete assignments and prepare for the end of the semester assessments. Students will be signing up a week ahead of time so that class lists can be generated for attendance purposes, as the mornings are considered regular instructional time.
