12 New DVDs
These are our answer to the often-asked question:
“Are you ever going to put Slideas on DVD?” Our
final answer is, “Yes! We did it!”
Each DVD includes two options for use. There is a
narrated “press and play” version, twenty images and
four to five minutes per topic. A manual slide show allows you to set your own pace, using the script or discussion questions and advancing the images with a
remote control or a computer key. These are great for
small groups and room or home visits. Guides are four
to eight pages, featuring printed scripts, questions for
each image, program ideas and additional resources.
Each DVD and guide in a binder is $30.
Twelve topics available now are: Arbor Day/Trees,
Easter, Fathers, Fourth of July, Halloween, Joy of
Food, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Mothers, New Years,
St. Patrick's Day and Thanksgiving.
All of the topics can be accompanied by file folders
of photocopy masters for activities called Actiphiles.
Sentence starts, Bi-Folkal BINGO cards, name tags,
skits, recipes, matching and word games, crafts and
more include instructions and discussion questions.
Make as many copies as you want and use over and
over again. $24 or save $4 when you buy the matching

Picture sets can be added for three of the topics—
Joy of Food, Labor Day and Memorial Day. A dozen
large-format black-and-white historical photographs are
captioned with memory- and thought-provoking questions. Buy a picture set for $14, or add it to a mini-kit
for just $10. (The mini-kits with picture sets are $92.)
