SPELLABRATION SUCCESS!
Our stars raised nearly $10,000! All this money will be used to
support our teachers and students at ABE. Some highlights
include:
 194 students spelled all of their words correctly
 18 classes brought in over $200 in pledges each earning
teachers 10% back to use towards supplies
 Our 1st graders won the prize for highest overall accuracy

 Our 2nd graders won the prize for most pledges collected

Everyone is welcome to come and see the wonderful
things our students are doing in all grades and special
areas around the school. There will be student performances and Scholastic Book Fair as well.
Join us for the SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE and a FREE
SPAGHETTI DINNER (served by Dads’ Club).
General Volunteers are needed for set up and clean up,
to serve as “greeters” and assist our music teacher with
2nd grade music performances.

The Spellabration Celebration parties for 1st & 2nd grades were

Training for the Geist 5K with the ABE Up & Running team
Lawrence Central will host a Spring Break Soccer
starts on Tuesday, April 12 for students in 4th, 5th, and 6th

FALL CREEK VALLEY PFO
There are many opportunities at Fall Creek Valley for the PFO
next year! They are looking for officer positiosn and non-officer

by the PFO booth to introduce yourself at the 6th grade Welcome Night at Fall Creek Valley on April 6.
Start your spring break off right with the Breaking Hunger Carnival, on Thursday, March 24 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. hosted by
the McKenzie JAG and sponsored by the United Way YAR
Grant. This carnival is geared towards elementary and middle
school kids and is taking place at the McKenzie Center. There
will be carnival games, food, prizes and other organization from
the community. Please bring a can opener, boxed good or
canned good item for admission. All items will be donated to
Lawrence Township’s local food pantry, The Cupboard. We
look forward to seeing you there!
