Locate key features of the parabola:
Graph y = x2 + 3x - 4 using the Graph
and Table application.
Tap into the bottom window to activate
the Edit Zoom Analysis menu.
Tap Zoom, Quick, Quick x^2 to choose
the pre-set quadratic View Window.
Tap back into the top window.
Horizontal intercepts: Tap Analysis, GSolve, Root. Use the left and right cursor
keys to move to each intercept.
Tap Edit, Clear All if required to clear the
editor window.
Vertical intercept: Tap Analysis, G-Solve,
y-Intercept.
Type x2 + 3x – 4 in the box following y1.
Tap
to draw the graph.
Vertex: Tap Analysis, G-Solve, Min.
