By Automobile
From East and Central Philadelphia
Follow I-76/Schuylkill Expressway west to Exit 339, City Avenue. Stay on City Avenue, and turn right at the sixth light onto
Conshohocken State Road, which curves around left (just after the post office) and becomes Montgomery Avenue (at the Don
Rosen BMW). Continue on Montgomery Avenue for approximately 4 miles to Harcum. The campus begins at the corner of
Pennswood and Montgomery Avenues. Turn left into the college entrance between Bedford and Klein halls for parking. Distance
from City Line Avenue to the campus is 5.7 miles.
From the West
Follow Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Drive straight ahead after leaving toll booths and follow I-76/Schuylkill
Expressway east to Exit 331A (I-476 South). Follow I-476 (Blue Route) south to Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova). At the bottom of
the exit ramp turn right onto Route 30 East. Continue east on Route 30/Lancaster Avenue for 2.7 miles to Bryn Mawr. Turn left
(after the municipal parking lot, corner with Sunoco Gas Station and Starbucks Coffee) onto Morris Avenue and proceed under
railroad to first traffic light. Turn right at the light onto Montgomery Avenue. The College main entrance will be 1/2 block on the
right.
From the South
Follow Route I-95 North to I-476 North. Take I-476 (Blue Route) north (approximately 14 miles) to Exit 13 (St.
David's/Villanova). At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right onto Route 30 East. Continue east on Route 30/Lancaster Avenue for
2.7 miles to Bryn Mawr. Turn left (after the municipal parking lot, corner with Sunoco Gas Station and Starbucks Coffee) onto
Morris Avenue and proceed under railroad to first traffic light. Turn right at the light onto Montgomery Avenue. The College main
entrance will be 1/2 block on the right.
From Northeastern Pennsylvania
Follow Northeast Extension (Rte 476) of Pennsylvania Turnpike south to end, Exit 20. Follow signs to I-476 South. Follow I-476
(Blue Route) to Exit 13 (St. David's/Villanova). At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right onto Route 30 East. Continue east on
Route 30/Lancaster Avenue for 2.7 miles to Bryn Mawr. Turn left (after the municipal parking lot, corner of Sunoco Gas Station

From the North via New Jersey Turnpike
Follow New Jersey Turnpike to Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-276 West. Follow I-276 west to Exit 333 (Norristown/Plymouth
Meeting/I-476 South). Follow I-476 (Blue Route) south to Exit 13 (St. David's/Villanova). At the bottom of the exit ramp turn
right onto Route 30 East. Continue east on Route 30/Lancaster Avenue for 2.7 miles to Bryn Mawr. Turn left (after the municipal
parking lot, corner of Sunoco Gas Station and Starbucks Coffee) onto Morris Avenue and proceed under railroad to first traffic
light. Turn right at the light onto Montgomery Avenue. The College main entrance will be 1/2 block on the right.
By Bus
The Route 105 SEPTA bus between 69th St. Terminal in Upper Darby and Paoli, via Lancaster Avenue, stops in Bryn Mawr, two
blocks from campus. From Lancaster Avenue, walk north toward the train station, cross under it, and continue one block to
Montgomery Avenue. The campus begins at this corner.
By Train
From the East, North and South
Detrain at 30th Street Station, Philadelphia, and transfer to the SEPTA Paoli Local (R5) commuter train. Take it to the Bryn Mawr
Train Station.
From the West
Detrain AMTRAK at Paoli and transfer to local SEPTA train to Bryn Mawr.
The Bryn Mawr train station is almost in Harcum's back yard and within sight of the campus. Walk north (away from the shopping
area of Bryn Mawr) one block to Montgomery Avenue. The campus begins at this corner. The gray stone building with white
columns on your right is Melville Hall, where you can find the Admissions Office.
Harcum College is in Bryn Mawr, PA, approximately 5.7 miles from City Line Ave./Route 1, 12 miles west of Center City
Philadelphia, 9 miles east of Paoli and 3 hours driving time from New York City and Washington, D.C.
