HAT DRESS CODE • Hats are allowed • No hats that the management considers vulgar, offensive or otherwise likely to cause a disturbance • No brimless head wear is allowed (bandannas, skullcaps, etc.) SHIRTS • Shirts are required after 7pm • No shirts that the management considers vulgar, offensive or otherwise likely to cause a disturbance PANTS • Short pants are permitted at all times • Women must be covered up after 7pm • No excessively low or baggy pants such that a person’s undergarments or buttocks are exposed FOOTWEAR • Footwear is suggested to be worn at all times and required after 7pm • No baseball, golf or football cleats • No work boots (after 7pm) • All footwear with laces must be tied BAGS / BACKPACKS To Ensure Customer Safety, Martell’s Tiki Bar Adopted the Following Policy on Bags • No suitcases • All bags that are allowed, but deemed questionable (including large purses) are subject to search prior to entering the establishment. However, individuals are free to refuse the bag search and enter the establishment without the questionable bag. MISCELLANEOUS • Clothing must not be excessively torn, dirty, tattered or emit an unpleasant odor. • No Coolers • No Thong Swim wear / Must be covered at all times. • No Boogie Boards • No Colors • No Glow Sticks • No Laser Pointers • No Video Cameras • No Motorcycle Helmets • No Bicycle Chains or Locks • No Outside Food or Beverages • No Beach Balls, Horns or Other Objects likely to cause a disturbance in the establishment • Management has the right to deny admission to anyone suspected to be intoxicated or deemed likely to cause a disturbance. IDENTIFICATION CHECKING POLICY Martell’s Tiki Bar’s identification policy follows that of State Law of New Jersey. Every person entering Martell’s Tiki Bar must present either a valid Photo Driver’s License or an official Photo Identification Card issued by the State or Federal Government. Details below. Primary Identification Driver’s License: If a driver’s license is changed, duplicate or if the door person doesn’t believe the individual presenting the identification is the person who is pictured on the identification, secondary (back up) photo identification is required. Passport: If the passport appears altered in any way or if the individual presenting the identification does not look like the person on the passport, secondary (back up) photo identification is necessary. Military ID: (photo) If the military ID is changed or if the door person doesn’t believe the individual presenting the identification is the person who is pictured on the identification, secondary (back up) photo identification is required. If an individual does not have one of the three above pieces of identification, they will not be allowed in. Secondary Identification The following Secondary (back up) ID is acceptable ONLY if accompanied with a primary form as outlined above. • Credit Card, Debit Card or Bank Card (photo) • NJDMV Boat License (photo) If there is any question, after observing the Primary and Secondary identification, the following may be used to help the door person decide if the individual is of age. The below may be used in place of secondary identification however: • Automobile Registration and Insurance Card (together) • Credit Cards (non photo) • Work Identification Miscellaneous • • • • Anyone that is believed to be visibly intoxicated will be denied entry. Anyone that is believed to have been recently in a fight (bleeding, torn clothing, visibly agitated) will be denied entry. Anyone acting in such a manner to suggest that they will cause a disturbance on the premises will be denied entry. Even if an individual has all of the above identification, if the door personnel does not believe the person presenting the identification is the person to whom the identification belongs, that individual will not be allowed in. ALL IDENTIFICATION ISSUES MUST BE HANDLED AT THE DOOR WITH THE PERSON PRESENTING THE IDENTIFICATION IN QUESTION. IDENTIFICATION ISSUES CANNOT BE SOLVED OVER THE PHONE OR E-MAIL.
