5 Days - 4 Nights
Day 1. Rome/Pompeii/Sorrento (280 km)
Early morning departure from Rome for Naples, where a short panoramic tour is featured. Then on
to Pompeii, the famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 a.D.
Lunch in a local restaurant, and afterwards, visit of the excavations. Proceed to your hotel in
Sorrento. Dinner and overnight. (LD)
Day 2. Capri excursion Optional Blue Grotto (€)
After breakfast, depart to Capri by ferry and enjoy breathtaking views of the most famous coastline
in Italy. Arrival in Capri and guided tour of the island by minibus. Stop in Anacapri for a short visit and
continue to Capri. Lunch at local restaurant. Time at leisure for shopping around Capri’s boutiques or
having a coffee in a café on Piazza Umberto 1 or joining an optional excursion to the Blue Grotto (€)
to admire the stunning sea. Ferry back and return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight. (BLD)
Day 3. Sorrento/Amalfi (75 km)
Breakfast at hotel. About noon transfer to Amalfi. You will have a whole afternoon at leisure in
Amalfi to visit the area on your own, to relax by the Mediterranean Sea or to shopping. Dinner and
overnight at hotel. (BD)
Day 4. Amalfi
Breakfast at hotel. Today you’ll enjoy an entire day at leisure to explore the area. Dinner and
overnight at hotel. (BD)
Day 5. Amalfi/Rome via Pompeii (310 km)
Breakfast at hotel. Early afternoon, transfer from hotel in Amalfi to hotel in Rome via Pompeii. End
of services. (B)
