2. Students will read the poem.
3. Students will be assigned a couplet from the poem to rephrase into modern language. We will share these as a group to enhance
understanding of the poem.
4. Students will view and discuss analysis of the poem stanza by stanza.
5. Students will respond in writing to the poem and its message.
