This strain is a balanced hybrid of indica and sativa that has
many similar characteristics to Clearwater. Balmoral is the
original in the line of “cheese” strains, named for their distinct

We’ve done our best to design the Yield
Guide in a way that gives you all the
salient information in a user friendly way.
We hope this page break-down helps you
differentiate strains from each other, so
that you can make the choices that are
right for you.
1. THE TWEED NAME: This is the Tweed
name of your strain. After all, we don’t
want you discussing the effectiveness
of an AK-47 with your doctor. These
are genuine medications, they deserve
genuine names.
2. THE “STREET NAME”: The “street
name” is still provided for those customers who came to trust a certain strain
based on its old name. We think it is
important to help those customers bridge
the gap who want to continue using it.
3. THC & CBD PERCENT: These potency
percentages are based on estimates and
breeder information. Lab-verified potencies for each individual harvest may vary
and those numbers are always available
on the Tweed website.
THC: Research has connected THC to
pain relieving, immune system ­regulating,
and anti-inflammatory properties. THC
is responsible for the euphoria felt from
cannabis.
CBD: Research has linked CBD to
­anti-inflammatory, pain relieving,
­anti-nausea, anti-anxiety, and muscle
relaxing functions of cannabis. Research
has also demonstrated that CBD diminishes the psychoactive effects of THC.

4. GENETICS: This genetic information
will allow users to identify whether a
strain is an indica, a sativa or a hybrid of
the two. These numbers are static and
will not change from harvest to harvest.
Sativa strains are almost exclusively
THC dominant. Although indica strains
can also be high in THC, the ­therapeutic
effects of THC are consistently found in
sativa strains.
Indica strains can contain higher levels of
CBD and more balanced mixtures of CBD
and THC. Although not all indicas are
CBD dominant, the therapeutic effects of
CBD are typically found in indica strains.
5. TERPOGRAPHY: Terpography is
unique to Tweed. We explain this visual
tool in detail on Page 5.
6. TIME OF USE: Every strain is unique
in its effects and appropriate time of use.
This section is a simple guide to help you
choose accordingly.
7. EXPECT TO FEEL: Information here is
based on aggregated anecdotal information and can be used as a general
guide. Remember that marijuana is very
personal — your experience may differ
from the information here.

Hops, pine needles, lemons, and black ­pepper
may not immediately strike you as having any
relation to the other, however they all have
one large commonality: their essential oils are
four of the most common compounds found in
­cannabis – called terpenes. Hundreds of terpenes
exist is ­cannabis, but only a few are in amounts
­substantial enough to be of note; these include
d-Limonene, Alpha-pinene, Beta-pinene, Myrcene,
Terpineol and Beta-Caryophyllene.
Each individual cannabis strain consists of a
unique terpene profile, similar to a fingerprint.

UNDERSTANDING THE MAP
The cluster of coloured dots represents
the ratios of terpenes to one another. A
larger dot represents a higher percentage of a particular terpene in the strain
and each smaller dot is scaled to represent its percentage within the profile.
The final visual representation is called
Terpography™ to combine the words
“terpene” and “topography.” We hope it’s
a quick and helpful tool that gives you
just a little more insight into selecting

Pinene (Alpha & Beta)
Found in pine needles and emits a pine,
sage, or rosemary scent.
Beta Myrcene
Found in hops, bay leaves, and lemongrassand emits an herbal, rooty, and
spicy scent.
d-Limonene
Similar to the scent you experience
when you peel an orange, the e­ xistence
of d-Limonene terpenes in some
­cannabis strains produces a strong
citrus scent and flavour.
Terpineol
Found in a variety of sources such as
cajuput oil, pine oil, and petitgrain oil
and has a pleasant odor similar to lilac.
Beta-Caryophyllene
Found in a variety of herbs and spices,
hence the spicy flavour, and although
the scent is minor it is described
­particularly as black pepper.

ABOUT THIS STRAIN.
This indica dominant hybrid gives a relatively calm effect.
­Argyle grows in a Christmas tree shape, producing dense ­onion/
garlic smelling buds. Argyle has a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD. The
original purpose of this strain when it was ­developed was to
make a very resinous plant to ­produce hashish.
Some people find Argyle to be helpful with reducing nausea,

Bakerstreet is the original kush strain and a pure indica, and
is surprisingly potent for a non-hybrid strain. This strain has
a very strong/dense bud and is fairly easy to tend to. It is the
head of the kush lineage, being a precursor to other strains

ABOUT THIS STRAIN.
Milton buds have a lavender hue on the back of darkened
leaves. This strain grows with elongated tight buds that give
off a loud fresh aroma. The street name suggests that it has
kush lineage but that nomenclature was given to it based on
appearance alone, not on genetics.
If you need help sleeping, Milton might be right for you.

HOW VAPORIZING WORKS.
Vaporizing requires a specialized device
traditionally called a vaporizer (also
known as a nebulizer), which can vary
in size, make and customizability. Tweed
provides vaporizers to registered customers at heavily discounted prices in order
to encourage the use of this method.
Using a vaporizer involves the placement
of marijuana into a chamber where it is
progressively heated past the boiling
point of each bioactive component,
but not high enough to cause the plant
to burn. The vapors are collected into
a ­secondary chamber, or are directly
inhaled by the patient.
Vaporizing is most effective when the
marijuana is cut up into smaller pieces.
Use scissors or a hand held marijuana
grinder to prepare your marijuana for
use in a vaporizer.
VAPOR POINTS.
Many vaporizers offer the ability to
change the set temperature, which can
impact the amount of bioactive cannabinoids that are present in the vapor.
Research using the Volcano® vaporizer
found the delivery efficiency highest at
around 226°C (439°F), falling to about
half efficiency at 150°C (302°F) to 180°C
(356°F) depending on material.
Vaporizers require sufficient time to heat
up and properly vaporize the bioactive
components of the cannabis plant. The
required lead-in (or preparation) time for
using a vaporizer is why some patients
continue to smoke marijuana to address
acute flare-ups of symptoms.
