1st Timer Class - Open to 4-H members who have not previously exhibited at a Southern 4-H Regional Beef Heifer Show. Additional class – can enter this class AND the Yearling
Heifer Class.
*** New for 2017 = Stall Competition- all members will participate in a clean stall competition. Members will be judged on how well their animals are displayed, how well they
can communicate with potential buyers and how they display their animals on their own, or working with other members without parent involvement.
Individual Calf Class- Members have the option to show calves exhibited on their 2 year old or 3 year old in an individual calf class. Champion calves are not eligible for
Champion Female.
CD Land and Cattle Breeder’s Herd Scholarship- any members exhibiting a breeder’s herd (heifer, 2 year old and 3 year old with natural calves at side) are eligible to complete
for a $500.00 scholarship. See the attached description and qualifying members will be contacted by the show scholarship committee with more details.
