MOORFOOT “SUNSHINE ROOM”
A number of pupils throughout the school access the “Sunshine Room” throughout the course of the week. It is also a
part of the school where staff can take small groups to develop social skills and have some quiet working time.
We are making effort to furnish and equip the room and would like to appeal to parents/carers for donations of items
they may no longer be using at home. At the moment we would appreciate: jigsaws suitable for age 5+, construction
toys-Lego/mobilo etc, turn taking games eg “Pop up Pirate”/ “Frustration”, doll’s house, dressing up clothes.
Any items would be wonderful and should be handed into the school office. Thank you.
Yellow Day
Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the opening of
our school garden.
Your very kind donations raised £367.41 for Ardgowan Hospice.
Thank you

on the time of the event or whether or not you would have preferred to stay in the
hall with items of interest as was the format last year.
