The Skokie Flyers Amateur Hockey Association at the Skatium Ice Arena is pleased to offer Dasher Board
Advertising Opportunities for the 2014-15 season. In addition to being the home rink of the Skokie Flyers, the
Skatium is also home to several affiliate organizations including the Niles Township High School Hockey Club, the
Jets Women Hockey Association, the Skokie Figure Skating Club, the Chicago Figure Skating Club, as well as
many successful in-house hockey and figure skating programs. In 2011 the Skatium completed a $5.2 million dollar
state-of-the-art renovation project making the facility one of the most impressive, modern ice arenas in the country.
Here’s a unique opportunity to target both children AND adults while demonstrating your commitment to youth
sports.
Why advertise at the Skatium Ice Arena?
Our customer base comes primarily from the communities of Skokie, Morton Grove, Lincolnwood, Golf,
Evanston and many from the Northwest side of Chicago.
Throughout the season teams from across the Chicago metropolitan area visit the Skatium for hockey
games, camps, clinics, tournaments, exhibitions, competitions and it’s renown annual ice show.
Open all year round, on average over 10,000 people walk through the doors on a weekly basis at the
Skatium. Through Dasher Board Advertising, your business will gain repetitive exposure to highly active
participants and their families that are typically affluent and upwardly mobile.
The Skatium is open 18 hours daily, seven days per week with a constant turnover of patrons and visitors
throughout the day.
The Skokie Flyers, one of the most established youth hockey programs in the United States, call the
Skatium home and have over 350 participants playing travel and house league levels of hockey playing
over 100 games a year. The Future Flyers Development Program boasts over 800 youth skaters annually
The Niles Township Hockey Club also calls the Skatium home, playing approximately 60 games each year.
The Skatium’s in-house adult hockey leagues are a perennial leader in the mid-west featuring over 50
teams annually and over 500 players.
The Skatium is also home to the well-known and highly acclaimed Skokie Figure Skating Club. The
Skatium also boasts a large, active Figure Skating program with over 800 participants in addition to weekly
Public Skating, and annual Special Events.

Dasher Board Ads
Ads are 3’ x 8’ and will be placed so all participants and spectators will see them. Provide the Skatium with your
logo and information and the staff will do the rest. Price includes all artwork and production fees. Your Dasher
Board Advertisement will remain in place for 12 months.
Dasher Board Advertising Space Pricing is as follows:
(Tier 1 and Tier 2 locations are on the players’ benches side of the rink facing the spectator seating area)
Tier 1 Location – Between the defensive end stanchion of each players’ bench thru the middle of the rink $1,800.00, plus $175 for production and installation of ad.
Tier 2 Location – Starting at a defensive end stanchion of a players’ bench thru the defensive zone meeting the goal
line - $1,500.00, plus $175 for production and installation of ad.
Tier 3 Location – Behind the goal line on one end of rink on the end boards - $1,200.00, plus $175 for production
and installation of ad.
