The month of November’s 7 Teachings focuses on COURAGE. The two pictures posted here show
student representations of what Courage means.
This is timely in November as we remember the COURAGE it takes to become a soldier in the service of
your country. We are all faced with moments in our lives when we will be called upon to be courageous.
Students are learning about the courage of the bear in taking care of its young by providing it nurturing,
food, shelter and protection. They are making the connections of what the bear teaches us about
courage to their own lives as they realize that their parents also show courage by doing these same
things for them.
