Year 4 Curriculum News
In Year 4 we have been learning decimals and practicing the 3 x table. We have been learning about African
countries like Malawi, Ghana, Ethiopia and some others and making a book about them. In RE we have been
learning about Moses. By John
Art Exhibition
We hope you all enjoyed the Art Exhibition held this week in the school hall. If you would like to purchase
your child’s picture please send payment of £8.50 to the school office in a sealed envelope with their name.
If you were unable to make the exhibition and would like to view your child’s picture please visit the office.
Punctuality for School
We are experiencing many children arriving to school after 8.50 am. Can we remind all parents that the gates
open for children from 8.30 am and close at 8.50 am, please ensure your child arrives at school between these
times and uses the main gate into the playground.
Parents Online Payments System
In the near future we will be introducing an online payment system to enable parents to make all payments to
school via an online system.
Parents of children in Year R, 1 & 2 who receive Universal Free School Meals and Free School Meal pupils
(Pupil Premium funded) will be able to go online and order their child’s lunch preference although obviously
no payment is required from you as these meals are free.

Children in Need
Friday 18th November is Children In Need day and children can come to school wearing spots, Pudsey T shirts
or fancy dress outfits. All voluntary donations will be donated to Children In Need.
Harvest Festival
We have received a certificate from Great Yarmouth Food Bank thanking us for the harvest festival food
donations which have gone to help local people in crisis. This certificate is displayed on the school notice
board.
