Easy tour in an ”enchanted” valley. Beautiful scenery,
culture and nature with the possibility of exciting detours and top ascents. All dogs must be put on lead, you
are now in the middle of a area for reindeer pasture.
The basic tour is 12 km easy hike with a 40 meters
diference in altitude. Can be walked with sneakers
and a very nice trip with children. Follow the path into
Anådalen. You will pass over a creek, where the path
meanders beautifully into the beautiful valley, along the
gravel ridges of the Ice Age.
When you pass an open mire area along a ridge, there
is a beautiful view over Axhögen and Helags. After 1.5
km you in touch with a phoneline that follows you to
Anådalens Sami camp.
We recommend mountain map as a complement.
After another 2 km reach Anån, it flows into the Anåsjöarna, which are great fishing lakes. There are some small
hills to climb, overlooking a few houses that are fishing
huts for landowners in Ljusnedal. The valley is very
beautiful, with Anåfjället, Anåkroken on the right hand
in the south. Here you can see as Bluethroat, Common
redshank and Comman grennshank
Once in the Sami camp, enjoy the view of Roaldstöten
and Blåstöten and explore the surroundings. Why not
take a dip in Anåsjöarna? Here lived a few Sámi families
permanently a long time, and today, Jan Fjällgren family
renovated a number of houses as an exclusive accommodation establishment for groups.
Walk back to the car the same way you came.

Round trip Kappruet
If you have any strength left, we strongly recommend a
continuation on Kappruet.
Continue through the Fjällgren farm, also pass through
the next farm, and follow the path over a mire. Across
the mire, path continues in the same direction but starts
going upwards towards Kappruet. After 500 meters
you will come up on marked snowmobile trail. Going
up on Kappruet so take the right. After a few hundred
meters you reach Kappruskaftet, a wide-open mountain
plateau. .
Select the old marked trail that takes the left from the
snowmobile trail at the beginning of the open surface.
Going upwards and at the top of the ridge, it’s a small
path line adjacent to the left towards Kappruet top.
Follow it all the way up on top, a view worth sweating
for! Dunsjöfjället in the north, Axhögen and Helags more
west, then follow Skardörrsfjällen, Mittåkläppen and
Skarsmassivet. To the west you look down over Kappruskaftet and the lake system. Walk back the same way or
take tour one if you want to do a detour.

Roundtour Kappruet
Have you chosen to go the northern route back from the
Sami camp, you go through the camp and follow the
path. After one kilometer you will come to a crossroads
where you continue straight ahead towards Mittådalen.
The trail runs through an old reindeer enclosure, don’t
interfere with the reindeer. Dogs must be put on leash.
The trail goes now slightly downhill, and 3.5 km from
Anådalen turn left on a path that takes you out to road
towards Mittådalen. Follow the left (south) about 2 km
back to the car.
Top Acsent of Blåstöten.
Another 10 km and 500 meters height difference in
altitude. This is a real challenge and will take 2-4 hours
extra, but it is well worth the effort. The view from the
top will leave you breathless.
Take the right path towards Blåstöten, after 1.5 km you
will reach the marked trail.
Continue up to the plateau top of Anåfjällsmassivet, a
total climb of 300 meters. The plateau is fascinating
barren, reminds you about The Lord of the Rings
wasteland of Mordor. Take the same route back.
