After 10 km, from the turning of the road towards Bruksvallarna, you have a gravel pit on the right hand. You will pass over a creek, where the path meanders beautifully into the beautiful valley, along the gravel ridges of the Ice Age. When you pass an open mire area along a ridge, there is a beautiful view over Axhögen and Helags. After 1.5 km you in touch with a phoneline that follows you to Anådalens Sami camp. We recommend mountain map as a complement. After another 2 km reach Anån, it flows into the Anåsjöarna, which are great fishing lakes. There are some small hills to climb, overlooking a few houses that are fishing huts for landowners in Ljusnedal. The valley is very beautiful, with Anåfjället, Anåkroken on the right hand in the south. Continue through the Fjällgren farm, also pass through the next farm, and follow the path over a mire. Across the mire, path continues in the same direction but starts going upwards towards Kappruet. After 500 meters you will come up on marked snowmobile trail. Going up on Kappruet so take the right. After a few hundred meters you reach Kappruskaftet, a wide-open mountain plateau. . Select the old marked trail that takes the left from the snowmobile trail at the beginning of the open surface. Going upwards and at the top of the ridge, it’s a small path line adjacent to the left towards Kappruet top. Follow it all the way up on top, a view worth sweating for! Dunsjöfjället in the north, Axhögen and Helags more west, then follow Skardörrsfjällen, Mittåkläppen and Skarsmassivet. To the west you look down over Kappruskaftet and the lake system. Walk back the same way or take tour one if you want to do a detour. Anådalens Sami camp more inform ation at fu n asfja l len .se * te l . 0 6 8 4 -15 5 8 0 Roundtour Kappruet Have you chosen to go the northern route back from the Sami camp, you go through the camp and follow the path. After one kilometer you will come to a crossroads where you continue straight ahead towards Mittådalen. The trail runs through an old reindeer enclosure, don’t interfere with the reindeer. Dogs must be put on leash. The trail goes now slightly downhill, and 3.5 km from Anådalen turn left on a path that takes you out to road towards Mittådalen. Follow the left (south) about 2 km back to the car. Top Acsent of Blåstöten. Another 10 km and 500 meters height difference in altitude. This is a real challenge and will take 2-4 hours extra, but it is well worth the effort. The view from the top will leave you breathless. Take the right path towards Blåstöten, after 1.5 km you will reach the marked trail. Continue up to the plateau top of Anåfjällsmassivet, a total climb of 300 meters. The plateau is fascinating barren, reminds you about The Lord of the Rings wasteland of Mordor. Take the same route back.
