Did you know our facilities receive fantastic feedback
each and every week? Here are some recent examples
sent to Logan Hospital.
To Whom It May Concern,
My husband and I attended the Emergency Department due
to pain on my left abdominal area. Days earlier we received
surprising news that we were 6 weeks pregnant after
attending our local doctor.
“First impressions count” and excellent customer service
goes a long way.
We really need to acknowledge the professional work of
Dr Lauren Heath who attended to myself with compassion,
understanding, professionalism, and most importantly the
person she was towards me.
Dr Lauren took her time to get to know me. She made sure
I was comfortable, safe and with tears in my eyes she gave
me plenty of reassurances.

Dementia patients at Beaudesert
Hospital are reaping the rewards
of new fiddle cushions generously
donated by a local quilting group
recently.
“It generally keeps a patient’s
hands busy while occupying their
mind to reduce the potential for
agitation.

as well as common household
items attached that give different
textures and tactile stimulation
when touched.
“It is important for a person with
dementia to stay active mentally
and stimulated through activities.
“It can help them maintain quality
of life especially during the later
stages of dementia.
“Patients like Judith are really
enjoying using the cushions and
we are extremely grateful to the
local quilting group for their very
thoughtful donations.”
Dr Lauren Heath kept on informing me of my conditions and
the results of my tests, her words of encouragement and
reassurance gave me plenty of relief, I felt calm and safe.
Thank You Dr Lauren Heath. You truly were God sent.
We would also like to acknowledge the work of two
wonderful nurses on the watch that afternoon. Nurse
Harry and Sarah who made sure I was comfortable. We
would also like to thank the wonderful lady that did my
scan,(forgive me for forgetting her name) she made sure I
was comfortable and understood the procedure. Thank you
very much.
When I got transferred to Ward 2I, the wonderful nurses who
worked there welcome me with smiles and reassurances,
they introduced me to my room. I felt blessed to have my
own room and be in the care of such wonderful nurses that
night.
I had a wonderful experiences of Logan Hospital and your
wonderful team of professional workers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God Bless.
