FUTURE STUDY OPTIONS
Articulation Agreements, or degree pathways, are agreements between Airways New Zealand and
Universities that facilitate recognition of a student’s Air Traffic Control study and transfer credit or
admission to upper levels of study at the University.
Our relationships with universities provide trainees with the opportunity to enrol in an ATC
programme which can shorten the length of a university degree by up to one full year.
All credit transfer pathways are subject to the admission requirements of the partnering university.
Please note that we currently have pathways for students who have completed a New Zealand
Diploma in Air Traffic Services (Level 6) into three universities:
•
Massey University in Palmerston North New Zealand
•
Emirates Aviation University in Dubai (EAU)
•
Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico in San Juan Puerto Rico (UIPR)
We will also work with students to facilitate a pathway to any other university.
Students satisfactorily completing the level 6 diploma programme will have an official evaluation
of credit transfer upon admission to the university. Transfer credits will be evaluated and applied
according to the degree course schedule, and a programme for the remaining courses will be
developed.
