How to Email Yourself, Your Instructor or Your Classmates Within D2L
To email yourself, your classmates, or your instructor within D2L click on the “Classlist” link located
under the DSCC logo.

When the screen below appears, check the box beside your name or the name you are sending an email
to and then click on the “Email in a separate window” icon which is at the bottom of the window and is
a little envelope.

A pop-up screen like the one below will appear with your email address already in the “To” box. Type
the subject of the email in the “Subject Line”, and then type your message. To attach a document or file,
click the “Browse” button at the bottom of the page. Find the file on your computer then click the
“Open” button on the next window that pops up. When you are through with your message, click the
“Send” button at the bottom of the page.
