GET FIT WITH AMANDA
Please welcome Amanda Becker to Marsh Landing and
look for her Get Fit New Year’s Challenge coming soon to all
Fitness and Tennis members. She combines Cardio Tennis,
Spin Classes, one on one personal training, nutritional guidance and her motivation to
get you back on track to reaching your fitness goals.
Amanda Becker joined Marsh Landing Country Club in September of 2016 working
both as a tennis professional and as a Realtor®. She brings a wealth of knowledge from
the tennis and fitness industries with more than 10 years of experience in the field.
Amanda is certified to teach tennis from the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR)
and holds personal training and group fitness certifications from the Aerobics Fitness
Association of America (AFAA). She moved to Jacksonville in 2009 to work for the United
States Tennis Association of Florida as a Tennis Program Coordinator. In this position she
helped to grow tennis programs and grassroots initiatives in local parks, schools, and
clubs in the First Coast Region. In addition, she continued to teach group fitness classes
at the First Coast YMCA and personal train clients on the side.
In 2013, Amanda decided to leave the tennis industry for a few years to pursue a
job with the Wounded Warrior Project planning the organization’s adaptive cycling
events around the country for wounded veterans. It was in this position that she had the
chance to change lives by teaching veterans about nutrition, goal setting, staying active,
adaptive sports, and how they could still live a healthy lifestyle despite their injuries.
Amanda is excited to be back in the tennis industry and to work with members at
Marsh Landing Country Club to help them achieve both their tennis and fitness goals.
