Enjoy a Day of Living History at Patrick Henry’s Red Hill October 1st and 2nd, 2015 from 8:30 to 2:00 Award-Winning Author Jenny Cote will give a creative writing workshop Titled ‘If This Be Fiction, Make the Most of It!’ $3 per child (ages 0-3 FREE); $5 per adult - Advance Registration Required - Space is Limited – Register by phone (434)376-2044 or email [email protected] On Thursday and Friday, October 1st and 2nd, Patrick Henry’s Red Hill will host its Days of Living History for Home-schooled Students. This program of living education is geared for children aged 8 to 10 years old, although children younger and older may join in and benefit from the hands-on experience of 18th century life. Interpretive sessions will run at 30 minute intervals with a break for lunch. Projected programs to be conducted every 30 minutes will be: • Spinning & weaving • Blacksmithing • Flax to Linen • Pottery • Patrick Henry We are pleased to have award winning author Jenny L.
