Dear Class of 2017,
Graduation is only a few months away, but like our time spent here so far at Wesleyan, it will
pass before we know it. On May 6th, we will leave Rockefeller Center having completed a
very important chapter in our lives. However, our experience with Wesleyan does not have
to end here.
Our school has provided us with many priceless opportunities, and we have numerous things
for which to be thankful. Many alumni have made sacrifices to ensure our time at Wesleyan
be worthwhile and more affordable. As future members of the alumni community, it is our
time to give back to our school. Many students have expressed concerns about their safety
on our campus, so the Senior Class Officers ask you to help us in donating a gift to increase
everyone’s safety. We plan to install multiple emergency call towers around campus from
which a simple press of a button will illuminate the surrounding area and notify campus
security and/or local law enforcement. We hope this installment will help make students
feel more comfortable on campus.
We ask you to consider making a gift of $20.17 in honor of the Class of 2017. While the Senior
Class Officers encourage a gift of this amount, any gift of any size will be graciously accepted.
By making this donation you are participating in leaving your mark on Wesleyan’s campus.
A special section of the Commencement program will be dedicated to recognizing these gifts.
We encourage you to make your gift in honor of a special person who has helped you to attain
your goals such as a family member, professor, or friend. The important part of the project
is that you participate in some way because it will take all of our combined efforts to leave a
lasting mark on our alma mater.
Sincerely,
Aaron Kessler
