Endowment Sunday, 11:30 am
Estate Planning Workshop & Luncheon, 11:45 am, Clara Barton
What the new Republican administration means
for estate planning and charitable planning;
strategies for taking care of the people and
institutions we love in these uncertain times.
Susan von Herrmann and Brett Zudekoff,
partner and counsel at the personal planning
group at Perkins Coie LLP. They specialize in
estate planning, charitable planning, family
wealth transfer, business succession planning
and estate and trust administration. Susan and Brett will bring us up to speed both on the
current tax laws that affect estate planning and charitable planning and what needs to be
done to make sure that plans are both up to date and optimal from a tax perspective. They
will review the most popular charitable planning techniques and provide some insight on
what might happen if Trump’s campaign promises with respect to tax reform come to pass.
The session will be interactive; questions and comments will be welcome!

Website is Almost Here!
Spring is the season of rebirth, and that's true even for our own website!
PCC's Web Team has been working hard over the past months, with the
support of Staff and the Board of Trustees, to bring you a completely
redesigned, simple to navigate and modern looking website. We hope to
launch it next week and hope you take a moment, surf around and enjoy the
more modern design and intuitive navigation. A big "Thank you" to Steven
Thorne, Don Ashburn, Abby Rose, Brad Kellogg, Griffin Ashburn and Leslie
Quantz for bringing this project from idea to completion. Please check out

Happy Spring!
Well, it is raining as I write this, but I
have hope that it will be sunny soon!
I want to let you share a craft we
recently did with the older children in
Sunday school. The lesson was “Jesus
Feeds Five Thousand”, which was an appropriate lesson
as we had just started the Kidz Club food drive. The
children learned that Jesus took five loaves of bread and
two fish and turned it into enough food for everyone—
plus leftovers! To reinforce the lesson, the older children
made bird feeders out of empty water bottles. We told
the children that we would be providing food for hungry
birds. We can surprise hungry birds by providing food
for them like Jesus fed the crowd. I thought it would be
fun to share this craft with you.
Feed the Birds Bird Feeder
Supplies: Empty water bottles
with lid, scissors, various colored
permanent markers, tape, yarn,
ribbon, and birdseed.
• Use permanent markers to color the bird feeder.
• Tape the “roof ” (the top of the water bottle) so that it
rests on top of the birdseed holder.
• Tie yarn around the top of the bottle, just under the
lid, so that it hangs. It’s best if the knot lines up with the
“door” so that the bird feeder hangs at a backward angle.
This will enable it to better support the weight of hungry
birds. You can also add ribbon to make a bow around the
bottles.
• Fill the bird feed with birdseed and hang outside.
