Who you gonna call when you need PCDART Support?

une 30 marked the ending of an
era as Doug Brook, DHI Specialist Training Coordinator, retired.
“Doug was a great leader, mentor,
facilitator and teacher,” said
NorthStar Cooperative General
Manager Mark Adam. “He filled all
these roles both within NorthStar
and outside the organization with
DRMS, industry consultants,
milk cooperatives, veterinarians,
colleges and universities, and, most
of all, NorthStar’s customers and
member-owners, the dairy producers
themselves.”
Recognizing the importance of the
support Doug provided, a succession
plan was initiated nine months ago,
and the decision was made to expand
the technical support team. In March,
Larry Glista and Jared Krull were
selected to provide technical support
for DHI Services and PCDART to
employees, customers and industry
representatives.
“Expanding our support team
allows NorthStar to now have a local
presence in Wisconsin,” said Ginni
Sheridan, Director DHI Services.
“Working side by side with Doug for
countless hours, Larry and Jared are
well prepared for their roles. They
both have exceptional technical skills
and no doubt are able to provide
the same quality of support, both
remotely and onsite, that people have
come to count on from NorthStar
Cooperative.”
A member of the NorthStar DHI
team since 2002, Larry has worked
as both a DHI Specialist and as
a member of the DHI Technical
Support team. Larry is well versed in
dairy software support, and will serve
the Michigan, Ohio and Indiana area.
Jared joined NorthStar as a
reproduction specialist in 2011 and
has been a leader in technical support
for electronic heat detection systems
and dairy management software.
Working side by
side with Doug
for countless
hours, Larry and
Jared are well
prepared for
their roles.
Jared will work with Wisconsin
and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
producers.
