poster using comparatives, superlatives, repetition,

council elections.
Recounts: Children will write a recount based on
different learning workshops about aspects of Ancient
Greece.

Addition and Subtraction: Add and
subtract whole numbers with more than 4
digits, including using formal written methods.

Living things and their Habitat: Children will learn
about the differences in the life cycles of a mammal, an
amphibian, an insect and a bird. Children will learn about
the life process of reproduction in some plants and
animals.
Earth and Space: Children will learn about the
movement of the Earth, and other planets, relative to the
Sun in the solar. Children will explore the Earth’s rotation
to explain day and night and the apparent movement of
the sun across the sky.
Ancient Greece: Children will explore and
identify ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses.
Children will learn about the different festivals
celebrated and what it was like growing up in
Ancient Greece.
Greek Gods/ Goddesses masks: children
will use a variety of media to create their own
mask. Children will use clay to create an
ancient Greek plate.
Geography

Scotland: Children will locate and identify the
geographical region of Scotland identify human and
physical characteristics including hills, mountains, coasts
and rivers.
Sikhism: Children will learn about founder of the religion
starting with Guru Nanak and ending with Guru Gobind
Singh. Children will learn about the Sikh Holy Scriptures,
the Guru Granth Sahib.
Netball, Basketball and Football: Children
will learn the basic rules of each game and the
overlapping skills. This will include: dribbling,
passing, defending and attacking.
