The dress for each school day:
Preparatory School
Prep:
Blazer, grey or white shirt and Prep School tie (jersey
optional), short trousers, long socks and garters,
black leather lace-up or velcro shoes (Yrs 1-2 only).
Middle:
Blazer, grey or white shirt and Middle School tie
(jersey optional), short or long trousers, long socks
and garters, black leather lace-up shoes.
Senior:
Blazer, grey or white shirt and Senior School tie
(jersey optional), long or short trousers, socks
(appropriate to trousers) and black leather shoes.

Middle School
Style of dress:

Uniform as above, with the white shirt. Middle and
Senior boys are to wear long trousers.
When? Each Friday (Chapel), first day of each term,
trips away (unless stated otherwise), hosting visiting
schools, and other designated occasions (when boys
will be warned in advance).
No2s:
Uniform as above with the grey shirt.
When? All other times

Requirements
PE - Sports Wear
• Senior school boys may wear short trousers with No 2s, ie grey
shirt.
Preparatory School
• If a singlet or comparable garment is worn under a shirt it must be
plain white.
• When the College blazer is worn the tie must also be worn. Both
these items are worn at all times out of the College grounds.
• If a boy is cycling to College he may do so without wearing his
College blazer but he should remember that it may well be required
during the day, eg for Chapel, Assembly etc.
Boys cycling must wear a helmet.

Boarders Uniform

In addition to ‘Daily Wear’ and ‘PE and Sportswear’,
Boarders are expected to have the following (with all items
named):
Shoe cleaning kit
Recommended to have at least 3

5 pairs of boxer shorts/

1 sharpie pen for naming extra
5 pairs of sports/casual socks
items purchased during the year

Boarders are allowed to wear mufti after school each day. These
clothes can be of their own choosing, without being too eccentric.
They require some shirts with collars to wear at dinner, House outings
etc. They must also have a College tracksuit. It is also recommended
that boys, when in their senior years, have ‘Civilian No1s’ (ie, blazer and
tie, for when they attend formal occasions).
All items of clothing and other personal possessions must be
clearly named.
Please note that parents might want to carry personal effects insurance
for the protection of their son’s items at school, as the College does not
cover this.
Name Tags
All items of uniform must be named. Name tags are available from the
College Shop. Name tags should use full initials and surnames, eg: J B
Green or first name with other initials and surname, eg: John B Green.
Opening Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8.15am - 1.30pm
Wednesday: 8.15am - 11am & 2pm - 4pm
Snapper closes 1.30pm every day
