The new weight compensation for vertical
orientated applications for the smallest LINAX® linear motor axis Lxc 44F08 (net weight 395g
only) is now available. The newly developed weight compensation based on spring force can
be equipped with 4 different springs for pay load weights of 0-200g, 200-400g, 400-600g and
600-900g. In a current-less state, the carriage slider including the payload moves upwards.
Interesting is that the payload is carried by a
maintenance-free spring. Compared to alternative technologies like brakes, this solution
provides a distinct advantage: While positioning the linear motor does not need force to
hold the payload. The result is higher dynamics, less heat and longer motor lifespan. You
build your automatic machines more compact, lighter and more energy efficient!
