On Sunday, October 9, The Big Fresno Fair will welcome one of the hottest Mexican Regional bands
around, Banda MS, to the Paul Paul Theater as part of the Table Mountain Concert Series. Currently
on a cross-country tour, Banda MS will bring their incredible show to fans at The Big Fresno Fair with
a heart pounding performance they won’t want to miss!
Banda MS, also known as Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga, is an award-winning regional
Mexican group from Sinaloa, Mexico. Founded in 2003, this 16-member group began their musical
career by playing at local festivals and weddings. Today, they perform at sold out venues across the
United States and Mexico!
Their first full-length album, No Podrás, debuted in 2004. Since then, 11 subsequent albums have
followed. Their fifth album, En Preparación (2009), introduced the international smash hit "Sin
Evidencias," which reached the Top Ten of the Billboard Latin Songs chart and the Top Five of the
Regional Mexican Songs chart. Their latest album, Que Bendicion, has taken the band on a crosscountry tour, with a stop at The Big Fresno Fair!
The all-brass band was nominated for “Best Musical Group” in the 2013 Lunas del Auditorio Awards.
Most recently, they were awarded the Hot Latin Artist/Duo/Group of the Year and Regional Mexican
Song of the Year by the Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2016.
Banda MS will perform live at the Paul Paul Theater on Sunday, October 9 at 7 p.m. Tickets range
from $35 - $100.
