SUBJECT:
SUPER HEALTHY EATING THE VEGAN WAY WITH JUST FRANK
The “just frank” cooking revolution is in the midst of becoming the next big thing. Leah
Franklin, the face behind “just frank” runs her own vegan catering company online where
customers can choose from her ever changing weekly menu, with the option to have
meals delivered to your door. With a huge following on Facebook, Instagram and her
online blog, Leah is bringing “just frank” to the Mount Gambier Library on Sunday 21 st
February 2016 at 11.30am to share her knowledge in a free community workshop.
Whether you are looking at leading a plant based lifestyle or introducing meatless Mondays to
your regime, Leah can show you how easy it is to eat super healthy the vegan way.
Leah will be sharing some of her clean, organic recipes and showing how diverse her healthy
lifestyle is. “Eating vegan doesn’t mean that you sit down to a bowl of salad and vegetables
every day” explains Leah. Some of her more popular recipes from regular customers are red
lentil Dahl, Mediterranean vegetable pasta, spinach and chickpea burgers, with those who have
a sweet tooth enjoying her orange and poppy seed muffins, chocolate and pecan caramel crisp
bars and her variety of bliss balls.
As well as tips on creating your own organic vegetable garden, Leah will touch base on label
reading. “Living as an ethical vegan means having to be even more vigilant when it comes to
decoding ingredient lists as you look for “cheese powder” and similarly described dairy and egg
products in random grocery items” explains Leah.
With Leah going live with her first online cooking video, the public now have the opportunity to
meet Leah in person at the Mount Gambier Library where customers can ask individual
questions about eating clean, healthy and vegan and will walk away with the confidence to cook
creative meals scratch.
